SUGABABES LOOK BACK

2 icon

SUGABABES were reminded of happier times with former members when the new line-up performed on the Top Of The Pops Christmas special.

It has been a turbulent year for babes Heidi Range, 26, and Amelle Berrabah, 25.

They saw founding member Keisha Buchanan, 25, leave the band and Jade Ewen, 21, join.

So it came as no surprise that old memories of performing alongside Keisha and Mutya Buena, 24, came flooding back to Heidi.

She told me: “I will always remember my first TOTP with Mutya and Keisha because it was so special to me.

Sugababes plan six singles from new LP

4 icon

Sugababes have revealed that they intend to release as many as six singles from their upcoming album Sweet 7.

The trio have already released 'Get Sexy' and 'About A Girl' from the record and third single 'Wear My Kiss' is expected in early February.

"We also want to release our collaboration with Sean Kingston 'Miss Everything'. I think it has a really good summery feel to it," singer Heidi Range told Digital Spy.

"We hope to release a lot more singles from this album, like five or six, so that will take us all the way to the end of next year."

Amelle Berrabah added: "'Thank You For The Heartbreak' is definitely a song that we love. We also want 'Little Miss Everything', which was written for us by Ne-Yo."

Sugababes have topped the singles chart on five previous occasions, including their Girls Aloud collaboration 'Walk This Way' for Comic Relief in 2007.

The group released download-only single 'Santa Baby' on December 21.

Bargain hunter Heidi Range

3 icon

Sugababes singer Heidi Range loves picking up designer clothes in the sales and will always haggle over the price.

Heidi Range always haggles over the price of clothes. Despite selling millions of records with the Sugababes, the blonde beauty can't resist a bargain and always tries to negotiate over the cost of her designer outfits. She said: 'If I see something I really love, I try to sweet-talk the sales staff to put it away for me, so I can get it at a discount price. I'm really into Chanel handbags. I've got six now and I'm still counting. They're totally classic. 'My Stella McCartney blanket coat is a favourite. My boyfriend bought it for me several years ago. It was expensive, even at the sale price, but it was last forever. I wear it every winter.' Meanwhile, new bandmate Jade Ewen has revealed she has a weakness for shoes - and will spend a whole day shopping for lavish pairs of heels. She explained to the Telegraph newspaper: 'I've got far more shoes than clothes. Shoes are my weak spot, especially Giuseppi Zanotti. When the sales are on, I like to make a whole day of it. I traipse up and down Bond Street and Regent Street in London. If I see something I like, I have to have it. I can't stand getting home and thinking, 'I should have bought that'.' Fellow singer Amelle Berrabah also loves a bargain - although she prefers to avoid the crowds and shop online. She said: 'I love a sale, but it's best to go on the big department stores or shop on net-a-porter.com, where you have the choice of lots of different brands and you can shop around.'
